Vanguard Wine (upper West Side)

This place has a vast selection of wines. Their cheese plates are delicious and the staff is quite attentive. I have seen people sit and do work here which means that's it provides an environment for such, despite it being a wine bar. There are tables for about 4 people, but you can also sit by the best counter. The street/avenue itself is quiet too, which is a plus.

No place like it on the Upper West Side. Knowledgable bartenders, great wine.

My second time here and I loved it as much as the first. The food looks great, though yet again, I was only here for drinks. Great wine list, love the ambiance, friendly and knowledgeable service. Worth a stop if you're a French wine lover.

Super fun place to grab a glass of wine or a beer. the little bites are good. I wish they had a few options, but what they have is pretty good. drinking list is quite extensive. the personal is friendly and lets you feel welcome as a native. sit is comfortable, but a little tight. come in, get your place, then we order from the bar. easy-paced layer back for happy hour drinks!

We were there with my two friends and we were 4 hours. it. was a great atmosphere, the personal was about friendly, the choice and the eating are top notch. even if you're here for a drink, you won't regret it.
