The food is seasoned to perfection, looks fantastic, and tastes amazing—I couldn't ask for better. As Psalms 149:6 says, "Let the high praises of God be in their mouth and a two-edged sword in their hand."

It was my husband and I's first visit to Mama’s, and I was thoroughly impressed with the food! The moment we stepped inside, the place smelled amazing. It definitely brought back memories of the South, like when I visit my sister-in-law in Florida, and we sometimes go to Tennessee and Louisiana for some great Southern cuisine. This restaurant reminded me of those experiences. The catfish I ordered was truly delicious and satisfying, and the portion sizes are generous. Nothing beats homemade food! Mama and her staff were incredibly warm and made us feel like family. We’ll definitely be returning for more!

Wow!!! The food here was incredible. It's a hidden gem in Manteca, serving authentic Southern soul food that really feels like home. I wish I could give it more stars. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly!

Stop looking. Just go here. Absolutely fantastic food and service. Mama Weber is so kind and her food is like nothing I've ever had and I've had southern food all over the US. Definitely not afraid of flavor! The collard greens and Mac and cheese are a must and the brisket absolutely melted in my mouth. Comes with cornbread that was moist and exactly how you'd want it. We got the catfish on the side to try it and it was fantastic as well not greasy very fresh. Nothing felt heavy. Everything was fresh and made to order. Cannot wait to go back and try more! Oh and we got bread pudding Togo that just came out of the oven! Cannot wait to eat it later thank you so much we're so glad we found such a gem in our new neighborhood.

BEST FOOD IN MANTECA HANDS DOWN So worth it. We will definitely be back. The brisket was literally mouth watering.
