We ordered scallops in sweet potato puree, pear ravioli, lobster ravioli, seafood risotto, parppardelle with lamb, and tagliatelle with porcini and prosciutto. I wouldn't go so far as to say the dishes were bland, but for all, the flavors were subtle. I'd think intentionally drinking sparkling water to cleanse the palate between courses or even bites might help. Despite that, I enjoyed my meal and would eat here again.
Giancarlo greeted me at host desk. My reservation was for 5:15pm outdoors). He offered the bar or a table inside that he would require vacated by 6:30pm. I remained outdoors. He reviewed the menu with us assisted with selecting a bottle of wine. The appetizer Polenta w/truffle cheese) was good. Our entrees: Linguini with Rabbit was good but the Veal, Beef Ravioli was not! The diced meat sauce was so dry, we almost choked. Juliano was our primary server but only saw him 2-3 times. Giancarlo stopped by a couple of times. We explained to Juliano, the meat on the ravioli was too dry. He said pick something that you would be happy with.....I must see you smile satisfied ....but he never came back to the table. Another server came by and we told him what Juliano told us and to order the veal/mushroom cannelloni to make up for the dry ravioli. The cannelloni was good at best). We asked for the check and was going to visit the bar for dessert coffee. When Juliano brought the check, there were three entrees on the bill $232). I explained to Juliano what he offered us and he had to get authorization from Giancarlo to removed the Ravioli that we were not happy with. He the brought back the bill showing $478 as a joke). I did not think that was appropriate, based on the circumstances. We did not go to the bar for dessert, nor will I return to Pasta And in the future. Prices not worth the quality or portion sizes.
I know this restaurant for more than 16 years. I have seen how much they have changed and get better and better. Their food is like eating in Italy. Their products are fresh and delicious. The new renovation is spectacular...congratulations...
Amazing food, atmosphere and service! Certainly not typical “American” italian restaurant. My husband had the special pork shank, it was incredible! Everyone loved their dishes, we finished our meal with ferro roche and pistachio gelatos. Both were delicious but the pistachio gelato was next level!!!
The best Italian meal in South Florida. Every dish was made with quality imported ingredients. Ambience was beautiful, peaceful and romantic. Amazing menu and selection of wines. Our server was attentive and made our experience even more memorable. We will be back soon.
