I ordered the Italian exactly as it comes and I would love to give 5 stars but as another commenter stated, the people that work there are like zombies. The guy making the sandwiches had to call the girl to the cash register and when she begrudgingly came from the back she didn't speak or even look at me. I made a point to ask her a couple questions to make her look at me. After reading other comments, it seems to me you need a complete overhaul of employees with proper training in customer service at this location. Other than that, best sub I've ever had in my life!
Always good usually crowded. They've never messed up my order down to the sauce/toppings prices are higher than the likes of Subway but so is the quality.
Came at 8:30 after I got an online order to be picked up at 8:20 and sandwich was still not ready. 3 people behind the counter and 3 other customers there so not busy at all. Picked-up sandwich and rose to the car to find slop with a little meat and no salate or tomato. I went back and asked, it was a hero sub, because there was no possibility that sandwich looked like that and I ordered in advance. only reason for the 2nd star is because a girl offered to make it again and corrected it, but the girl that made it orginal seemed like she was trying to get a job. I like to go on the Cobb road to one, although I literally live by delk. I am not one of these icy or pompous customers, because in the food service I do not like to do with people all the time, but do not give me any trouble, be late with him, and try to serve it as they please me one.
Staff was very rude. I ordered my sandwich twice and both times it was wrong. When I went back to the counter I asked if they could make me a new sandwich showing them my receipt stating how the sandwich should have been. Without speaking, the employee wrote on the receipt what I did not want on there. 15 minutes later when my second sandwich was ready, it was once again wrong. I threw it away and left. I will not be returning to firehouse and this is the second time my order has been wrong and I only order pickles and black olvies, not a complicated order. So disappointing.
Granted, I came in at 9:45 (15 minutes to close) I got two quick orders. The cashier (seemed to be in charge) was clearly upset with my fiancé and I for daring to come in within store hours. Proceeded to act pissed and turn off TVs and make us uncomfortable. Another customer that arrived before us asked to change something on his order before the sandwich was made, the same cashier made a comment under his breath that seemed to make the other two staff members laugh. We were out by 10:00. I’ve worked in food service and understand if someone comes in 5 minutes til, but that wasn’t the case. This location needs a new staff or better morale.
