It's cool that they carry some delicious cooking and apple bananas, but OMG, the owner Indian guy doesn't greet and doesn't show appreciation to the customers. No wonder, why they don't get much business.
If I were able to leave 0 stars, I would. I have never felt so disrespected and uncomfortable until I walked into this store. I was on a video call with my mom to make sure I was grabbing the correct ingredients, and the man at the front counter walks up to me and my sister with an accusatory tone asking why we were taking pictures. After we explained why we were on a video call, he proceeds to follow me and my sister all around the store, even following us outside and taking pictures of us and our car. What makes it even worse is that we had my baby with us. The dude seems like he's paranoid because there are cameras ALL over the store. I've shopped there before and never experienced that level of rudeness. The store itself isn't even clean, it stinks, half of the stuff is expired and it doesn't seem like he's going through it any time soon. Avoid this store like the plague. Go to the Korean Market next door, or drive the extra 10 minutes to the Filipino-Indian Market in Seaside.
The only good Asian grocery store in Marina. They usually have fresh produce and seafood at fair prices, and the staff is friendly. I do wish they offered a broader selection of Japanese and Korean products. Nevertheless, there's something here for everyone’s taste.
The grocery store offers a wide variety of items at reasonable prices. The owner is friendly, and the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables is impressive.
