Jersey Mike's Subs - Marina del Rey

I saw the commercial for chicken Philly and went order a giant one. It taste good but a bit salty. Two other customers ordered turkey sandwich and they look great. Maybe I try that next time.

Here are my thoughts on a Jersey Mike's sub shop. I expect to find a well-dressed staff member who keeps the restaurant clean, no matter what it takes. Unfortunately, this location has a bathroom that smells unpleasant and reminds me of urine. The dining tables also seem to have been neglected and possibly haven't been cleaned in a long time, as there's a noticeable greasy film on the surfaces. Overall, I felt dirty and uncomfortable—far dirtier than usual. At least I try to shower occasionally, which made me think about the cleanliness of the staff. With all the men working there, it raises concerns about whether they are taking care of their own hygiene before coming to work or maintaining cleanliness after using the restroom.

I used to enjoy Subway until I discovered Jersey Mike's. While it's pricier, the quality of the bread and meats is far superior. My favorite is the Tuna Sandwich—it comes as close to an Italian deli experience as you can get in a fast-casual restaurant. This location also offers free parking in the back, and the place is clean.

My friend and I shared a tuna sandwich, and both of us ended up with food poisoning. I tried calling the restaurant to inform them so they could alert others, but nobody answered the phone.
