We very much enjoy our meals, the prices are reasonable and the recent renovations make this a lovely location for date night or other special occasions. So give them a try you'll be pleased.
I have been going to Stevens for years. This is a family run restaurant with great customer service. The place is very clean and good for groups. I find the food to be good and do recommend a try.
I had lunch there today with a client. It appears to be a family restaurant. There were a lot of older people there today. The menu has a lot of options ... a lot! It ranges from sandwiches to seafood to burgers to entrees. I was tempted by the chicken parm (I love chicken parm! until I saw that it had BBQ sauce instead of tomato sauce. Huh?? Instead I had a Angus burger with bacon and mozzarella cheese. It was okay ... alas, a frozen burger. The fries were okay. My companion had veal parm and it came with fries, which seems wrong to me. He ate all of the veal and seemed to like it. Our server was attentive and friendly.
Amazing food and service! Best steak ever. I have been to many different steak houses and this one beats them all, yes even the keg and ruth chris and the rest of them. Any steak is delicious. Great family run business for 35 years! If you've lasted this long then your doing something right (which they are), from all the years of experience you can tell that the food and the customer is the most important. Forget going to the Danforth for a chicken souvlaki, come here! The souvlaki is the biggest and the best tasting one I've had! There is to two sections of the restaurant, which is nice, one side is the nice dinning setting with cloth table covers etc and the other is nice as well with a more typical restaurant look. So you can come to the same restaurant and feel like you are having a regular nice lunch or dinner and then come another day and have another great meal with a different ambiance. I've stopped by here every time I am up that way and all I wish is that this place was close by so I could go 2-3 times a week. The service is great, before you ask for your coffee to be filled up they are doing it!! When your driving up Hwy 10 on your travels, stop by and try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed. Great Restaurant!
We stopped here for lunch on the way up to the Bruce Peninsula. The staff was great, very nice and attentive. We ordered a number of different things from a hot dog to a sirloin steak sandwich. All of the dishes came with two sides, soup or salad, as well as fries, mashed potatoes, or rice. The food was all pretty good, but it was way too much for most people. We saw a number of people taking leftovers. It would be nice to just have smaller meals. Generally your typical diner food, nothing all that amazing.
