Cucina Locale - Markham

Not sure how I haven't been here before, since I do live so close, but it was one of those places that was just okay. Came in for a quick meal and was

Came here with a group of friends to have some tasty Italian food based on the reviewsYummy food for a great price.

The owner got upset and kicked out customers from his restaurant for no apparent reason. He used profanity in English and Italian, which we understood. He did this in front of all the customers with children present. This is not an experience that I would recommend. Stay away.

Never witnessed such a disgraceful level of service in my life - true cowardice. The 'owner' cursed me out of the restaurant for returning a lukewarm Soft Drink after requesting ice 3x then shooed my entire family out of the dump with a hail of cursing that carried out into the parking lot. Needless to say that being with my family yielded a muted response on my part.Obviously we won't be returning and will warn anyone against dining here. I really thought that his table side visit would net an apology and willingness to make things right, boy was I wrong. I've since read other reviews and this is not the first occurrence of this absurdity - must remind myself to read reviews before visiting!
