My family has been eating here for 26 years. Yummy Kitchen has always been there in good times and bad. Their rice—perfectly fried. Their general gaos chicken—a rich auburn shine and sweet taste that resembles pure joy. Anyone who talks bad about this establishment is objectively WRONG. They know us by name. They’re on my speed dial. Moving to Pittsburgh has been a hard transition. Leaving friends and our home was nothing compared to this great loss. Thank you for your service Yummy Kitchen.
I went yesterday to pick up takeout for three of us at work. We ordered two lunch specials—an S24 and an S28—along with a side of chicken wings, and it only cost us a little over $23. Everything was really delicious, and I was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't been here in over 14 years, and I could tell it has changed ownership a few times since then. With places like Star Ocean and China Taste now closed, this will definitely be my new go-to spot! #GoodValue
The prices are reasonable, and I really enjoy the Dinner Specials. The rice noodles can vary in quality but are generally tasty. While none of the spicy dishes are actually very spicy, this tends to work in favor of the average diner in Marlborough. I particularly like the Chicken in Sichuan Garlic Sauce, General Gau's Chicken, and Curry Chicken.
Quick service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. The crab rangoon has been perfectly savory during my last ten orders, and the other fried items are always hot and crispy—I'm not sure what the previous reviewer is referring to. The staff are friendly as well.
