Cajun Tex - Marshall

Been here a few times with no issues. Today was different. Ordered crawfish cornbread, grilled shrimp poboy a side of dirty rice. Got our drinks found a table. Crawfish cornbread came out, but it was just cornbread, NO crawfish whatsoever in it. I went to the front asked what came in the crawfish cornbread? Told them it had NO crawfish in it, lady said ok headed to the kitchen. I went set back down. 6-7 mins later little girl brings me a refund for my cornbread. I asked if they had any CRAWFISH CORNBREAD to which I was told they were out. Anyways I hope to try them again, but come on folks, where has the service industry pride gone??

Took 41 minutes to get our meal. The boiled shrimp is great but it was cool. Twice I had nearly frozen corn on the cob with it. I will order it again. Edited 4 days later. Today the food came out very fast. The fish tacos are amazing.

Good Cajun food made from scratch! One of my fav places to go when I lived around town. Had them for a 2 day catering event and what a wonderful job as the men/ladies loved it. If I’m ever in town, this will be the place I go visit. Love you Cajun-Tex!

Unfortunately, both our appetizers of Boudin egg rolls and onion rings came out cold... that was disappointing. My fish was cooked to perfection and delicious but my daughter said her hamburger was a little bland. Great atmosphere and the people were nice and friendly...maybe it was an off day for food quality.
