Matakana Oysters

Very happy to get the fresh and cheap oysters here on the way back to Auckland. Good spot must stop at Matakana!!!! They have free parking and out door dining table that you can enjoy the delicious and fresh oysters. Size options and also have wide selection of sauces. If you a fan of oyster must try and visit here. Highly recommend

On the way to Omaha beach I saw this place and thought of visiting on the way back. Thankfully it was open. I ordered fresh oysters already in a small container for $20. Couldn’t resist and eat the whole thing at the spot, with lime. No salt, as the water inside was already salted. Small great place for oyster lovers. Next time I’ll try with olive oil and some chili. Great experience!

Fresh local oysters at a reasonable price. Lovely service. Plenty of parking and some sitting area to enjoy your oysters.

On main road, plenty of parking. Fresh Oysters, Oyster soup. Small shop with other items such as comb Honey, Soft Drinks. Friendly service. Area to eat Oysters.

Well worth the visit. Great price and chance to try fresh oysters of various sizes from cocktail size (the smallest), medium, large, XL, and Jumbo oysters!
