You can only choose from the stewed items and none of the other things (i.e. lechon, fish, bbq items are all sold separately). I went with the pancit, which was very meh and salty, and soggy. It seemed to have been leftover. I had it with chicken adobo and some pork dish but both tasted very similar. Like the pancit, it was super salty. My husband chose garlic rice, which I didn't know was an option. Had I known, I would have picked that, because that was good. I mean you can't go wrong with garlic rice. He had beef, which was really dry. We also ordered a side of lumpia, which was cold and chewy.Still looking for a go to Filipino spot in North Jersey because this one wasn't it.Tip there’s a parking lot around the back.
A lot of choices, everyday fresh foods. Reasonable price. Pork BBQ is the best!!Food: 5/5
The pancit looked good but way too much patis. The adobo was disappointing since it was mostly bones the vegetable dish was served not even room temperature but actually cold. The floors were dirty and tables were dirty and obviously not regularly wiped down…just disappointing.Food: 1/5
We were hungry and decided to try this place. And we were glad we did.We ordered the chicken Adobo, Menudo, Pan fried fish (daing bangus), Pansit noodle, Bicol Express spicy coconut chicken, Caldereta, and Laing. All were for takeout since their eat in wasnt that large. We ate them as soon as we got home and they were so good! The coconut chicken adobo was delicious, and the bicol express spicy coconut chicken was to die for. The pan-fried milk fish was meaty and marinated well. None of the food was too oily, just the way we like it.The service was good too. Just wish they had several tables to eat at. It's really a to go place (we saw one table and it was occupied), not for eat-in.There was a line when we were there, and it does move, but if the person ahead of you is ordering a lot, the wait can be long. However, they provide attention to you when it's your turn.
A typical filipino restaurant in the sense that it's a combination of a restaurant and store.Food was good especially the bangus. The bangus was grilled perfectly and no bones at all. They have a lot of different entrees (ulam) to choose from. No chicken adobo but they had a chicken in coconut milk which was just as delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and not too oily.Service was good and they're transparent about any upcharges. The beef dishes had a $1 upcharge. They do tell you right then and there vs a surprise at the register.Prices were as expected and on par with other filipino restaurants. They have seating and tables at the back of the restaurant but it is tiny and not suitable for large parties. The restaurant was also very hot inside so can be uncomfortable to eat in. We took our food to go.I am happy to see a filipino restaurant in the area and will be back.
