El Rodeo Taco Express - McAllen

Very bad experience here. Ordered a couple of taco orders to go. The tacos were cold and hard and the beans had a hair in it. Called the manager to complain and he said, “This happens at the best restaurants” What?!? Avoid this place!Food: 1/5

I pick dinner for my family paid good money. Getting home after waiting for the Oder . Or tacos the meat was over cook potatoes were old it had lots of brown spots !!! I called the store and said sorry. ! Wow never againFood: 1/5

I’ve ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash and the food is superb! I also work for DoorDash though and the environment is not welcoming at all. Every time I go pick up an order here and at the store next door the cashiers and waitresses always have an attitude like they’re upset you’re there to get an order. A smile goes a long way ladies! Hate picking up here for this reason. I’m more than sure online sales account for a big part of your business, be nice to your delivery drivers! Thanks!

The food is EXCELLENT here. The prices are great especially for the specials. The server is friendly. It is outside so it can be windy and terribly hot so try to go in the evening. I think they have live entertainment sometimes too. I’ll have to check it out.Food: 5/5

I ordered the guacamole and they brought me sliced avocados. I was told they serve it like that now. I asked for a spoon to mash them up and they brought me a plastic spoon and the waitress just stood there and watched me struggle. I told her to take it back and have them prepare it like what they advertise. Big mistake, it came back just cut up and was not at all like the picture. At that point I just accepted it since I was hungry and didn’t want wait any longer.This place used to be good but must be under new ownership or management. Be careful when ordering here, ask to make sure it will look like the picture advertised. We will lot be back.
