Uncle Sam's Cafeteria - McDonough

OMG! This place is good. I love their fried chicken and baked too specially when they have lemon pepper one. It is seasoned well and the best part is it is crispy. I don’t know why some people think this is horrible. They might need to check their taste bud. I would recommend someone. It’s a small family owed restaurant who I could tell they put all their hearts out to it. I know they tried so hard to bring the business up during pandemic. So please support them and support the local business too.

Worked at Encompass for a while and this would literally be the whole crews favorite place. Best soul food and overall great environment miss the scenery and the crew. There cat fish is honestly the best in my opinion and there fried chicken and macaroni. Plus they greet you with southern hospitality but we always joked around lol. I went there today to freshen up with the crew and eat pork chops.

The place was great and clean and we'll kept. Food out standing. Service with a smile. This town has a jem that needs to be in more places. Home style food is hard to find that tastes so great. Can't wait to go back when I get the chance.

Nice environment, quick, friendly service. Food was tasty. Except the rice was dry, even with teriyaki sauce. Kinda high priced at $7.75.

Yummy food and very sweet owners. We stopped in spontaneously and had a quick, delicious meal served by a lovely woman. The place is clean and inviting.
