First time in McLaren Vale. We chose this Cafe due to a number of people inside, seemed to have more than the other cafe's in the area. We enjoyed a very nice pepperoni pizza, with a well made tasty coffee. We found the service was friendly and helpful. Understandable a number of customers enjoying lunch, as the menu had good affordable options. We left very satisfied and pleased this was the Cafe we chose.
Exquisitely presented meal, prepared perfectly to my pallet. I had the best Salt Pepper Squid I can recall, at a fair price.
Waited more than 50 minutes for some bruschetta, which is basically toast, and some chicken wings... When we asked what was taking so long they blamed that they were really busy, there was only about 12 to 15 other people there. We asked for a refund as we wanted to go somewhere else and all they offered instead was one free beer. The service was average and the food was okay but slightly overpriced. Would have rather spent less money and gotten Subway after all that.
Restaurant has delicious food, absolutely fantastic gluten free options, best gluten free handmade pizza base I've ever had, it was fluffy and tasted like a really good regular pizza base, very impressive. My partner had the burger and chips and gave very high compliments also. Great service and facilities, friendly staff and really nice spot for any meal of the day. Would 100% recommend.
