Mazatlan Mexican - McMinnville

I enjoy this restaurant, but the service can be hit or miss. Around 80% of the time, the waitstaff are friendly and attentive. There is a sign at the checkout station asking for patience, and it seems necessary. However, during one visit, we were the only other customers besides another couple. We waited 10 minutes without being acknowledged or given water. This was our first time dining here. Despite this, I still believe an 80% success rate in service and delicious food is quite good. Expect slow service, but know that the staff will be courteous and the food will be tasty. If you can overlook the lack of personnel and are willing to be patient, it's worth a visit to Mazatlan.

I had a terrible experience at this place. Our craving for Mexican food led us to try a different restaurant. We ordered Fajitas through door-Dash, thinking that no one could mess it up. I was mistaken. What we received was more like pepper steak than Fajitas. The meat was in small pieces along with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and other unidentified vegetables all in a pool of what seemed like tomato sauce. The chips were tasty, but the salsa was watery. I have given up on finding high-quality Mexican food in this area. See the photo for what was left.

The staff is what makes this a wonderful experience. Calm, soft music, good food. I like this place. Great staff. Soooo friendly.

I'm a type 1 diabetics and I had accidentally packed a used insulin pen, so we had to get boxes for food and bring it home. The waiter was so nice and friendly, even though I felt like I left this break. He even helped get the food in the box because how hot the plate was. Food was great and 5/5

We absolutely loved this restaurant! The food was amazing and my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
