BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN THE WORLD!!!!!!! I travel from Florida to eat here!!!

My husband and I went there for late lunch/early dinner after a round of golf. It was about 3:00 when we showed up. By the way, it was as the covid-19 pandemic was really getting going, and there were rumors about closing state borders and national borders. So, we were the only ones in there. Our waiter was very nice, friendly, smiley, and kept appropriate social distance. I ordered a draft beer and it was served in a frozen glass beer mug. Ice cold. Chips and salsa were served, and the chips were standard, and the salsa had good flavor, though pretty mild. I like spicy food, and this being central Georgia, I wasn't surprised by this. I ordered the Texas Rice, and asked if it was spicy. He said no. So I asked if he could spice it up. He offered to bring some hot salsa to the table. The hot salsa was home made, served in a very small bowl. It had great flavor, and was quite spicy. My husband likes really really spicy food, so he started eating it on his chips, but I didn't. When my Texas Rice arrived it had a drizzle of this hot salsa across the top. It was just the right amount to compliment the dish and give it a little kick. It was outstanding. The shrimp was not over cooked, the chicken strips were not dry, and the beef strips were properly browned. Not easy to do, as all three proteins cook at different speeds. I asked the waiter if they serve it with that hot salsa often, and he said only if they ask for it spicy. Otherwise it comes out not spicy. It's a dish that is basically like combo fajita is served over rice and topped with some cheese. I loved it. I ate the whole thing and was totally stuffed. It was an average big serving. They do sell a half order also. Do yourself a favor and try this and ask for it spicy!

My favorite Mexican restaurant! Just a short drive from anywhere! Family friendly service! The Texas Rice is my all time favorite dish!
