It has been around for a long time, and a large portion of the population knows. They do have very good roast beef. They have sandwiches and also have seafood. On a recent lunch visit, I had the fish and chips.I only have three complaints. My first is that there is too much batter on the onion rings. You don't taste the onion, but the batter.Nothing is pre-salted, which I get. You can always add salt. But just asking the customer if they want salt, a bit, or a lot might change the experience.Especially the fish, it can definitely use the salt. The last complaint is that the fish does not come with lemon.Fish is nothing without lemon.Maybe I should have asked. They give you plenty of fish, perfectly battered, although I would like a bit less, but that's just me.It's tasty, and so are the fries. Now, just pass the salt and the lemon.Great food, and reasonable.
Good food.Friendly people and service.Great for a late night meal.
Used to be good. Are there a few months ago. Place was filthy, food was terrible. Very disappointed
Our cashier was pleasant and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. The Cajun Shrimp and fish plate were very tasty. And even though the clams were tasty as well, they were a little chewy.Their chowder was less to be desired, the potatoes seemed to not be fully cooked and was a very brothy/thin chowder, just wish it was a thick creamy chowder. On the plus side of the chowder, it was clam packed. Last but not least, their coleslaw is delicious! So all and all, not bad for this location.I grew up on Revere Beach near the original Kelly’s, they can be hit or miss too, when they’re open.
The food is good .There is a longer wait due to short staff
