Contribuisci feedback...it is a Whole Foods store with all the typical Whole Foods amenities.
This small Whole Foods supermarket in Medford offers a wide variety of vegan items for sale, including frozen foods, cheeses, yogurt, milks, and margarine. They also have fresh organic fruits and vegetables, as well as vegan soaps, toothpastes, beauty products, condoms, and supplements. While they do have cow-cheese and butcher sections, these are easy to avoid. The store has a small vegan baked goods section with options like vegan chocolate chip cookie dough. They also occasionally offer fresh vegan baked goods like scones, apple pie, or pumpkin pie. The selection of vegan ice creams is limited compared to other grocery chains, but overall, they have an excellent variety of vegan processed foods and superior vegetables. Prices are typical for Whole Foods. Although this location is not easily accessible by public transportation, the staff is very friendly. Overall, I would rate this Whole Foods a 3 compared to other local branches, but a 4 compared to other grocery stores in Medford or Somerville.
This place is reminiscent of a small whole foods supermarket, offering a wide variety of vegan items for sale. From vegan frozen foods like Amy's vegetable korma, to vegan cheese, yogurt, milk, and margarine, as well as fresh organic fruits and vegetables, they have it all. They also carry vegan soaps, toothpastes, beauty products, condoms, and supplements, alongside non-vegan options. The small vegan baked goods section includes items like Moo-cuck vegan chocolate chip cookies and vegan desserts from Cafe Indigo. Occasionally, they feature fresh vegan baked goods like scones, apple cakes, or pumpkin cake, although this is not consistent. The selection of vegan ice creams is limited, but they excel in offering vegan processed food products, high-quality vegetables, and clearly labeled vegan options in their ready-to-eat section. While they may have fewer vegan choices compared to other local Whole Foods locations, the staff is very friendly. The prices are typical for Whole Foods, slightly higher than most supermarkets. This location is great for those in Medford, but not easily accessible by public transportation (about 2 miles from the nearest subway stop in Davis Square). Overall, I would rate this place a 3 compared to other Whole Foods locations, but a 4 compared to other food stores in the Medford or Somerville area.
