Contribuisci feedbackI booked for 2 people on 5th july at 5 pm,confusion when i asked for some milk with a pot of tea so thought best to go to.mcdonalds for something to eat instead ,very good online booking process
I picked the Captain Melville as being good for a group dinner, the only downside is not having split billing. This is a thing that is ridiculously easy to facilitate these days so while it's my only disappointment, it's a significant one. I note the current process also impacts on how many drinks (alcoholic or otherwise) I order because while food is table service, drinks are not. Please consider a change to this process I really do enjoy bringing groups to this pub, it's an otherwise perfect location.
The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly. Special mention to the Irish guy that worked there super friendly and knowledgeable :
Captain Melville once again served as a dinner venue to 20 members of the Continuum convention looking for a great meal in a space where we could all sit together and talk. To cut a long story short, it's the only venue so far that I've been moved to book two years in a row due to the high quality of the well-priced food, the ability to hear ourselves talk without yelling, and the friendly staff who are so patient with taking all our orders. I don't think we've ever had any mixups with the food aside from the occasional Jenga block landing in someone's aioli. (P.S. if you're playing the games that Captain Melville provides, we are very sorry if there is still aioli on the Jenga block. We did try to wash it off.
We were happy with our meals, we all selected 3 different entree and each of us had different mains so we got to see and taste the variety there was and we loved all of them. The waitress was very nice and friendly she spoke clear and politely and memorized all our meals. We all said we would can't Wait to go again.
