Nicko's - Melton

My regular port of call in melton for fish chips, with sufficient seating and cheerful service when I decide to eat.

Visited on Friday 13th mai 22. lunch approx. 1 uhr. shop was quiet. I asked for haddock chips. I was told about 5 10 minutes. I wasn't told what that was waiting that I was surprised to have to wait at all, but went around the block. on the return they gave me what I thought I was ordered. I went back to home for the 10 minutes. at the tasting I now found 2 small cod not haddock. I ate this, but it was annoying. I went back to the load, faced the very English an unlikely Greek) manager. He said he thought it was a bit dock. you're a lousy man who only wanted to use old fish friends. you lost a customer. I hate bullxers.

A few days in mowbray. went to nicko's first night for a quick dinner. very friendly and friendly staff. clean. beautiful meal, almost as good as my native in saffron forest! Maybe I am biased. will visit next time.

Consistently great! Classic fish and chips, and more, since 1993 when I moved here. 5 stars every time!
