Abuelo's - Memphis

I can just say that Abuelo’s is just one of the best locations to come eat at! My favorite! My mom used to work here a few years back, but we highly recommend eating here! Me and my family always enjoy lunch here and would love to come back!

This was an amazing experience! My family and I had been in Memphis doing things for our church, and so we decided to go to this restaurant before heading back home to central Arkansas! First off, the workers were so incredibly helpful and nice, and even though we had to split into two different groups because of Covid, we didn't mind. The food was oh.my.gosh amazing!!! My husband and I ordered their enchiladas, and they were so good I could've eaten 6 more if I hadn't have filled up on chips , salsa, and dip beforehand! Our waitress was absolutely amazing, and made sure we never ran out of chips, or our drinks! She was very on top of it and we really appreciate that she worked that hard for us! The flan.... Oh. My. Holy. Heck!!! That flan was soooooooo good!!! I do not know what sorcery they use to make that delicious dish, but it was so creamy, and the caramel flavor was perfect, the whipped cream side was freshly done and amazing, and they chose the best strawberries to put on the side as well!! If you go here for nothing else, go for the flan!! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone!!

I have found my new favorite place. I am a West Texas girl so I know my Mexican food. I have to say this is the best I have had since leaving Texas 20 years ago. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was authentic and the service was fantastic. Our server was Melissa. She was wonderful. Very attentive, personable and professional. An absolutely wonderful experience. THANK YOU!!

I love the food at Abuelo’s especially the enchiladas. The atmosphere is great with the high ceilings and decorations. It’s a great place. Last Saturday we went there but the line was over an hour wait and it was after eight on Saturday. We ended up going somewhere else due to the wait. We tried to call to make a reservation but they didn’t answer the phone. It’s popular because it’s good.

The staff here is especially nice and willing to go the extra mile to ensure your get the best service possible. Even if they are 20 minutes to close and you walk in the door. The food was exceptional and had an authentic flavor you don’t find at most Tex-Mex restaurants. I will come here again!
