The toddy has a cinnamon flavor. Very smooth. Low proof. The wheat was ok, but the bourbon was great! The blend was ok.Nice place! Helpful staff. Cute gift shop. Right in Front Street across the street from Gus’s! I guess that will be dinner!
Any place that plays songs from tiktok IMMEDIATELY gets 2 stars off. Clear the owners dgaf about the ambiance probably just going off a “top hits playlist ?”. We did take a tour of the distillery and was entertained however, however!our tour guide asked if we had any questions and when I asked what he thought about where we go when we die all I got was a smirk and “moving on..”. After being embarrassed infront of our tour group he then again asks “any questions?”. Yes sir uhm do you think it’s ethical to bring more children into this dying world?!? No answer.. Finally as our tour comes to a close he then again asks “any questions?” I hold my hand up and what I get was just disappointment. “Not from you” I’m sorry.. but you just spoke to us as a whole “ANY QUESTIONS?” YES I DO! DO YOU THINK HUMAN ETHICS ARE LEARNED OR NATURAL????! No answer.. in fact only the tour goers like myself were willing to answer. That’s not who I asked however. I believe this distillery is top notch no complaints. But I ponder who it is they hire to direct these tour guides if not willing to answer the questions we behold. The whiskey tasting has me writing this review with a high note but for the tour experience I’m left embarrassed and yearning for more.
Kate the tour guide/event coordinator was PHENOMENAL. She was well informed and very social too. She allowed Q&A's and gave a ton of very interesting information as well. I enjoyed her tour! The tasting was also fun
Was dying to try this place for ages, came across their recent cocktail menu and knew I had to stop by ASAP. Tried the chai ice pick and coco beware. Loved them both, but the coco beware was a lot stronger. Chai Ice Pick has chai, Memphis toddy, and a melody of grapefruit/citrus and lemon notes which worked well together, very smooth and easy to drink. Coco Beware comes in a chilled premixed glass, nice chocolate/horchata with bourbon... but beware* it IS very strong. We came not too long before closing but service was not rushed in the slightest and bartenders couldn’t be more attentive and friendly. Plus they have big screens with good games on. Definitely recommending to all friends.
This is a beautiful place with a very large bar area. had an old fashion they claim is the best in the city. it wasn't disappointed. the service was a little slow and I saw one of the bartenders who checked his phone while the people waited to take over their orders.
