Having sorbet between the starter (garlic bread) and your entree or main (depending on your choice) is an excellent idea when you have the table d'hôte. The waitstaff were lovely and pleasant. We will definitely be back.
Grissini is an excellent restaurant. It is extremely family friendly with a great atmosphere for every occasion. It has fabulous Italian food and the best pizzas! They also cater for all types of functions and birthdays. Highly recommened
Food is very nice. Service very good. Losts to choose from the menus and would recommend it. Nice for a group. Friendly nice atmosphere. Our group enjoyed the evening.
Had a lovely dinner with another couple last Saturday we all commented on how much we enjoyed our meal , service was great and we certainly will be going back. Great night .
My family and I have visited this restaurant several times over the years (it's convenient and we like Italian) and each time the restaurant has been almost empty. Having said that, it always takes a long time for our food to come out. The food wasn't bad, but when the bill came I wasn't impressed. The pizzas are already very expensive, and then they charge you $2 extra each person you share them with. Seriously? How many people don't share pizzas? Then to top it off, no split bills (fair enough) but they want to charge you a fee for using a credit card (even though the bill was over $250) and then just for funsies, they add a Sunday surcharge on top. I haven't been to any restaurant in sydney that has charged me a Sunday surcharge (I've regularly been charged public holiday s/c, but not Sunday. If it was the norm or expected I wouldn't mind, but seems mingey to me when so few restaurants do it)The waiter was nice, but I would say the restaurant would benefit by making things easier for their customers.
