Redwood Drive-in - Mendon

A wonderful old-fashioned drive-in restaurant. Delicious burgers and seafood, with wonderful french fries and onion rings. Great ice cream, too!

The first time I went to visit the Redwood was the early 80s; it's now known as George's Surf and Turf. I had never had an eastern fried whole clam and scallop basket before. Now it's all I can think about, I have not found anywhere in the United States, Europe or Mexico that can compare itself to the Redwood, George's Surf and Turf. I have since settled in Texas but I want to go back to Mendon's Redwood, George's Surf and Turf just for a Combination calm and scallop basket and lots of their tarter sauce... no fries, although tasty is not my interest. I might just go back next summer, 2024. To bad Redwood, George's Surf and Turf doesn't ship to Texas.

Fun little place to eat..food and ice cream were all great

Absolutely delicious and this place has been around since I was a child and I was a 90s kid and now I can take my kids here. The service is great and the food is even better !!
