Lo de Fer - Mendoza

Fernando is an outstanding chef. We spent more time with Gladys (his wife) because Fernando is cooking the meal but she is lovely and he made sure he came out to talk to us and explained the meal. They both talk to us and made sure we were well taken care of. Great experience!

Fernando is an excellent chef - the food was unpretentiously delicious. We spent more time with Gladys as Fernando prepared the food, and she was delightful. She serenaded us and provided us with information about the culture of Mendoza. We would definitely recommend Lo de Fer!

The place is unique, the food incredible, the owners/workers are really beautiful persons.My first time at this resto and i want to come back again.I feel like i was in home, the place is very cozy. I can't describe the experience here. They have to come.

A very unique experience of 'closed-door' dining in Mendoza. The 5 course meal was excellent!! Glady's is an very sweet and friendly host and Fernando is a chef par excellence!! They both would come talk to us after serving each course but leave us alone to enjoy the food. You can tell that each dish was well thought out and cooked with great care. Everything including the bread is home-made. The white chocolate, strawberry dessert is to die for. They have a wine selection but we took our own bottle. A must-dine restaurant if you are looking for old-school, traditional south-american/Argentinian food.

By friend's recomendation we visited this place. Only two tables. need to reserve in advance.Delicious home cooking, abundant dishes, small but good selection of wines.The hostess is a really nice lady, but she talks a lot. Be ready to spend some time with her in very enthusiastic conversations.
