Ono Hawaiian Bbq - Mesa

This was my first visit to this particular restaurant location. I went during lunch time and the service was quick. I ordered 2 chicken beef combos, which came with generous portions of sticky rice, macaroni salad, and cabbage with BBQ chicken and beef - similar to the plate lunches in Hawaii. The food was delicious and there was enough for two meals. The takeout setup was convenient, with the option of indoor seating as well. It only took 5 minutes from placing my order to receiving my takeout, and the food stayed warm in the little boxes. The BBQ sauce was mild and flavorful, reminiscent of what we enjoyed in Hawaii.

I was shocked to receive a burnt dinner. It seems like no one bothered to check the quality before sending it out. This was a disappointing experience and I will not be ordering from this restaurant again. They have lost a customer who was willing to give them a chance.

This was my first time trying Hawaiian BBQ and I was impressed. The portions at Ono Grill were generous and the prices were reasonable. The quality of the food surpassed my expectations for a fast food restaurant. I ordered the Hawaiian BBQ mix, which included three types of meat that were all delicious. The hot teriyaki sauce added a flavorful touch to the meal. After a long flight, my friends and I decided to get takeout from Ono Grill based on recommendations from locals. The menu had a variety of options and our meal was large enough to satisfy two adults. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience at Ono Grill.

This is my go to for local Hawaiian food. It's usually 5+stars but on this day only 3. I ordered my usual Kalbi it was almost black in color, dry, and tough. It must have been cooked earlier and reheated. It was after the lunch rush after 2:30. I'llkeep going back cause I know how good it really is, but not at this time of day.

It was close to closing time around 845pm and we had no issues with ordering or getting our food. Food was great only thing was the person we ordered our food had a significant other and we?re making out on the side by the restroom. I think that isunsatisfactory for being at a job at making out while customers were inside. I?m not sure how she was raised but this was rudeand inappropriate.I will not be coming back to this location.
