As well as the Gordita Roja. For drinks we got the Cadillac margarita and spicycucumber. Best Cadillac in the valley, hands down. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were super friendly and shared thehistory of the place with the owners. We were told the dessert is made by the owners wife, we had the tres leches carrot cake.It was amazing. You have to check this place out.
Went 2 times this week because I kept craving their calabacita tacos and Mango Cheescake !! So delicious. I recommend you try the quesadilla with chicken and the carnita tacos and Ofcourse the calabacita tacos ????, margaritas are filled with flavor andso are the desserts!
Had the chicken quesadilla. nothing nice but definitiw after a few drinks from the nearby bars on the square. the drink menu here looked very delicious many classics, but I didn't order a drink. only give 4 stars because of the prizes. a queendilla and two tres leches cake slices came to $26, which feels over price for what I got. I would revisit in the future, however.
Drove 40 miles and checked this place out because it was recommended to me by my dad, who saw it on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. We were greeted by a pretty chill friendly dude named Miah who gave us some great recommendations ? We all split Charo beans, elote, lengua taco, barbacoa taco, red beef potato gordita, green pork and bean gordita, and tres leches carrot cake. It was all fantastic! They have something for everyone and all spice levels. They make their own tortillas and salsas and even have a large local beer variety. Nice out door/in door seating. Bathrooms were clean even the soap smells good Thank for a great lunch! We will be back again
Excellent, excellent, excellent! Very specific culinary style from Chihuahua. Would definitely recommend to true foodies. Great service and explanation of the menu. The employees seem super excited about what they are doing with the food at Tacos Chiwas. Oh, and great 90s rock music blasting all the time!
