Rock-n-sake Sushi - Metairie

The reason For one star because I cannot but zero star one of the worst sushi I’ve had in my lifetime and I eat in a lot of sushi places, Trash it’s a compliment for rock and sake it’s below trash it’s hard to believe they stay in business.

My most preferred sushi place in New Orleans and Metairie.

I love the food, but the quality of some of your rolls change depending on who makes them. Sometimes they are perfectly rolled and put together. Then sometimes the look and taste like the person was rushing and not worried about the quality of their work. I still eat at the restaurant but have cut back on the 2—3 times a week I use to eat in or get takeout. I know the pandemic has hurt the labor market. I love the variety of apps and the sushi is always super fresh. The vibe is definitely reflective of their sister locations. I wish they were open for more lunch options! I would be here daily. My favorite dish is the wonton soup (not pictured) — the broth is so spicy, the best I've had yet!

This place was delicious. There weren’t a lot of specialty rolls choices, but what they do have is well done. Highly recommend. This will easily be in rotation of my favorite sushi places.
