Veterans Express Sushi - Metairie

The concept of customer service must not be something the waitress has ever heard of. She rushed us to order to the point of making me feel anxious. And when I brought up a concern about the bill being incorrect she was very combative and I had to really stick to my guns to get her to correct it. The food was fine no better or worse than a similar level Asian restaurant. The man behind the front counter making sushi was very pleasant. Overall it was a negative experience dueto the waitress and I would not go back.

He wants to destroy our experience. Great TERRIBLE service, food is OKAY best. The price is not worth it at all. Just a waste of money... can get my skillful sprite and soak my chicken in Walmart sauce in my house and get better sushi from Sam's club

Amazing fresh and delicious fish. Large sushi kitchen, friendly, fast and creative. 3 stars just because the waitress was rude and angry that we arrived at 8p an hour before they closed. She was quick to tell us there were 20 orders before us, practically threw our dishes on the table, not checked our order so was extremely rude when it was wrong, and never brought our soup. And do NOT order the wine, it could also be color thinner, old oxidized. Apart from that, the kitchen staff drug the very large, dirty and stinky garbage can be through the main dining room from the front door. Cleanliness is questionable.

Always have such fresh fish and delicious flavor combinations for the rolls. All I ever had was delicious and all at a great price. Only what is bad here is the clear soup (Onion water with noodles only) and service can be hit or missed.
