I started with the warm baby beetroot salad, and I was in beet heaven with its rich yogurt, candied walnuts and thick balsam sauce. my companion began his meal with homemade gnocchi, covered with a pumpkin sauce and shishatake mushrooms. from there we have divided beef tenderloin, which was so tender that it was just melted over the one on our back. we also ordered kartoffelmaische, which was so good I wanted to run my finger along the bowl to get the last drop gooey goodness. fortunately we had room for dessert: the ice cream sundae included caramelized popcorn, which was a wonderfully crispy tasty against the heavenly ice. I had carrot cake with cocose sorce. delicious, every bite and it is worth looking for this place. Of course, eating can be excellent, but it is not my graphics, unless the atmosphere and service are also excellent. here you will find a friendly, sweet, comfortable atmosphere that she begged to stay and the service was impeccable. next time I go to Manila, we'll go back to the finals.
This was a family visit without reservation. suppe was great, salat was delicious, but the huh was on a whole new level, so good. the service was also very friendly. can be highly recommended.
A group of four adults and a child visited the restaurant. The adults chose the 5-course menu and were able to sample all the dishes available. The standout dishes were the knochenmark and the tiramisu dessert. However, some of the other dishes were bland or the ingredients didn't complement each other well. While techniques like deconstructing and foaming were used, the flavors didn't harmonize well and some dishes had contrasting textures that didn't work. The steak was cooked perfectly, but lacked seasoning. Unfortunately, a mosquito landed in my tiramisu halfway through and ruined the dish. The same happened to a friend's dessert, but she was able to finish it after changing her spoon. The staff were attentive, but overall the food was mediocre and the ambiance was ruined by mosquitoes. I have to be honest, it was a disappointing experience.
I booked for the day of my mannes. kitchen table. no one in the neighbourhood knew where this restaurant was! Even at icon plaza they did not know it. but we came. they showed us a table at the door, I said we booked cooked. it turned out that this table was a bar opposite a small, not so chic kitchen. so back to the table at the door. excellent service. extensive, meny printed so small it was impossible to read. champagne, good price, cool and perfectly served. Iberian ham, mushroom ravioli, thunfish salad, spicy pork salad, the latter was not spicy and the pork? overall very good. main course salmon in crispy paper, roasted chicken a little dry, with green salad, ok, garlic rice, extra-sawed vegetables, boring. we asked for chilisauce, it was complicated! overall good. not worth another way from makati to bgc.
I planned a dinner party mini business dinner for our group and their GM(Damien) was a great help . He made us prepare everything in order and gave choices for our 5 course meal. He is very reliable and energetic. I may not say...its a perfect restaurant but it's one of the top 10 of my choice. The drinks though were pricey and just okay except for the presentation. THE FOOD IS THE REAL DEAL. It's great well thought of and taste is fantastic. As a restauranteur, I'll definitely be back with food.
