My wife and I went to this restaurant for our 10th anniversary and we both agreed that the food was excellent. From the appetizers (cheese and chorizo, pan-seared foie gras) to the duck leg and the L'entrecote steak, and the chocolate mousse dessert, everything was spot on. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium, the duck was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The restaurant had an authentic French bistro ambiance with a slightly rustic feel to it. It was small and quiet, and the upstairs room provided a romantic atmosphere. However, it was not a fine dining environment with pristine tablecloths and interiors. The room upstairs looked a bit messy with paper boxes and plastic bags lying around. The service was friendly and helpful, but we had to ask for the candle to be lit and served ourselves the wine during dinner. This might deduct points if you're looking for a fine dining experience. The food was not cheap but had good value for the taste. The duck was priced at 900 PHP (20 USD) and the double L'entrecote with unlimited fries and extra butter was under 3,000 PHP (60 USD). However, the wine was on the expensive side, with prices more than 3 times the average retail price, even for the more expensive bottles. I paid too much for the Chateau de Candale (2010) at 5,000+ PHP (110 USD). Overall, the food was excellent, worth the price, and the atmosphere was great if you're relaxed about the environment and service.
So far so good! Usually comes here for special occasions and whenever we long for steaks. the service was very good with the attention that bordered on blunt wise. larry was excessively eager, maybe. he helped us taste her weeping and understandably he did. for the expensive French wine beaten even if I specified to taste their home wine, which was also very acceptable. the la brochette flambé was good and the brote are excellent. crunchy and warm while serving. pretty expensive, but as long as it's in order and the steaks are tender, it's okay.
Good food. good personal. good service. good. a bit expensive, but they will not regret it. the owner is very friendly and generous when he knows her
The steak was so bad that I didn't even think it was a Tomahawk steak. but I was with the family, and I didn't want to push one. also cooked. the salate was cute salate. a loser. the service was so bad, my son. (who had recommended the place) went back to talk to the manager to his friend. the manager said he realized that something was gone and didn't ask us for one of the steaks. a nice gesture, but I'll never go there again.
