Food was great BUT I am very dissatisfied with their staffs - not friendly, unattentive, take too long to refill side dishes and don't know how to smile! A restaurant will be nothing if the staffs are ???????????????? even though the food is great! Very pricey and doesn't offer unli side dishes unlike other korean resto (like Samgyupsalamat). Small portion and not recommended for big groups of people. Do I want to go back? NEVER! ???????????? Staffs were very rude!!!
Good value buffet but lots of flies around the buffet area. Quite a few choices for side dishes but didn't seem fresh, sitting outside in the open for a long time
Good points: ✅ Place feels like home. It's located in an actual house and the Korean owners are present to welcome and serve so the Korean vibe is very much authentic and present. ✅ Staff are attentive. They serve quickly. ✅ I have yet to see this place full but so far, based on my experience, you can easily get seats and not have to wait in line. ✅ Dishes taste authentic. No artificial-flavored nor subpar quality dishes. Bad points: ❌ Place needs better lighting. It's a bit dim inside. ❌ It's a bit pricey here in conjunction with the serving size. Their servings are quite small. They're not friendly for sharing with big groups unlike most Korean bbq restaurants. ❌ Side dishes are limited. There are other Korean restaurants out there that serve unlimited side dishes // and sometimes even unli meat for a cheaper price.
Must try : 1. Deungsim - Meat are really tender (order 2 kind of grill meat free 1 soup) 2. Seafood Jeon - B'cos i like somthing like pizza. Love their side dish kimchi, roll egg, another 1 i dont know the name. The veggie to wrap grilled meat was fresh as far as my experience, the service was okay.
I am craving for Korean foods and i'm glad that my friends felt the same so we go find one. Kim Sok has gotten our attention and went there. We came in almost 7pm and the place is slight packed. We ordered Samgyupsal, Chadalboki, Japchae, Kimchi Jjigae, Seafood Jeon and Soju. First, Samgyupsal was yum that it easily ran off. So we ordered another meat and the server says that Chadalboki is their best seller so we choose that one. Since I was just enjoying, I forgot to take a photo. ???? But Chadalboki is thinly sliced beef brisket. Also, a yum. I ate my meat dipped in oil, soybean paste and wrapped with lettuce. Plus a sip of Soju for added kick. It was perfect. ???? Japchae and the rest of what we ordered was authentic as I know it tastes. Kimchi Jjigae comes with rice. Seafood Jeon is a must try. Well seasoned and tastes good. There are parts tho that are bitter, maybe the overcooked sides. So it would be better to cook it as evenly as possible. We were also given side dishes. All tastes good but my faves would be the egg rolls, tofu and kimchi. We asked about the refills and the sever told us that we can get two free refills. So we add egg rolls because we like it heaps. Servers were also nice and would attend to our needs as much as possible. The owners are also kind to check on us and accommodates our needs. Overall, it was fun experience and would definitely go back and recommend. ????????
