Ô-29 - Metz

This restaurant belongs to the Mercure Hotel. Usually I don't like hotel restaurants and tend to avoid them. But we did not know, so we booked here as it has good reviews. And it was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is decent and airy, withenough space and quiet for a pleasant dinner. the choice on the menue is not huge, but there is something for everybody, from starters to sweets, from meaty to veg, with kind staff and reasonable prices. all together a good place.

The only good thing about this restaurant is the cosy interior design. I orderd entrecote with sauce chimichurri. Part of the meat was too hard to eat. The chimichurri had hardly touched the plate, maybe they put it on with a toothbrush. And the potatoes were not enough to make you satisfied. Also my husband left hungry. Staff was nice but stressed. If you come to Metz a Saturday night make a reservation in another restaurant in advance.

We ate in a charming place with a very nice and professional staff. The meal was delicious, delicate presentation and delicious dishes. I'll be right back.
