The burger I received had no sauce or any seasoning whatsoever. May have been an excellent sandwich if it was prepared as the menu described. Just a bland beef patty with cheese and soggy onion rings. I will say, they have an interesting menu and the place is much nicer than it has been in years.
My experience at Tully's has been quite inconsistent. There are times when the food arrives quickly, even with a full dining room, but then the next day, I waited an hour and a half for breakfast when the place was empty. The food is just average, but the service and speed could definitely use improvement.
The food was reasonably priced, there was no wait for a table, and they accepted credit cards. We ordered breakfast, which included eggs, grits, and bacon. While we were in the middle of our review, the owner approached us and announced that we weren't allowed to take pictures of our food because she was worried someone might try to steal her recipes. Well, here’s a fun fact: the secret ingredient in scrambled eggs is... wait for it... EGGS!
We made an effort to visit, but despite the posted hours indicating they were open, the restaurant was closed. We weren't alone in our confusion; there were others there who were just as puzzled. Ultimately, we decided to go to Sharon's instead.
Many places are closed, but this one is open for breakfast. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is excellent. Check out the pictures!
