Pita Express - Michigan City

My son really enjoys the grape leaves and they also serve gyro salads, one of my favorites

My son, my girlfriend and myself were at Pita Express today and we're extremely disappointed with the service. We were denied the opportunity to actually sit down and eat. When we inquired as to why, we were rudely ejected from the restaurant. On top of that, the bread from the sandwiches we had was extremely hard and moldy. Needless to say, we will not be back again.

Probably among the most authentic Lebanese food that one could have in the US.

Gyros plate. Lamb was deliciously tender and well seasoned. Generous portion (enough for 2+sandwiches, plus fries). I got mine to go, but the dining area was clean and a bit outdated. As takeouts are more common than full service, it seems silly to mention the atmosphere. This is next door to a coin laundromat, so foresee many returns to eat my way through their menu.

The lady behind the desk was really rude. Food was terrible. My hamburger bun was mody and fell apart. Food was disgusting. Will not go back. Tables were dirty. We were told that we could not dine in.
