My friend and I decided to try it out, but when we inquired about the special, we were told that the advertised price was only for lunch, with a higher price in the evening. This discrepancy was not mentioned in the ad, leaving us feeling deceived. We have chosen not to support this unethical business and will not be returning.
Sandy’s is good value, has tasty eating and fast service. their fish and chips are the best around! cozy dining atmosphere in the picturesque town of mildmay.
After enjoying a fantastic hot beef sandwich at this restaurant several years back, we decided to give their breakfast a try. The restaurant has since been renovated, but still offers a menu that is just as appealing. My wife ordered the traditional bacon and eggs, while I went with the delicious western sandwich. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful. This charming little restaurant in a small town has a wide selection of delicious dishes on offer. We will definitely be coming back for another visit.
From the road you don't know if the space is open, as the windows are covered (packed) the Ydo fonts but have a sign outside. in the interior of the decor is drab, boring and dark. it was as if we wanted the lighter to full. it is decorated in gray colors the trendy colors with African artifacts around (not exactly mildmay decor aroma), but it was quite full when we were early on Sunday morning. the service was slow and the food wasn't so great. we had every breakfast that was a popular menu choice it seemed, it was okay, but nothing wonderful. pricing in the middle. we didn't want to go back there.
My wife and I visited this restaurant on our way to Owen Sound to visit family. After a long drive from the city we were ready to stop and relax and have a good old-fashioned lunch and Sandy's fit the bill. It is not fancy,...but bright and cheerful and located right on the main street in Mildmay with parking right out front. The menu is quite exhaustive so selecting an entre can become quite the challenge. Service was very friendly and quick and the food was hot and delicious.
