L&l Hawaiian Barbecue - Mililani

I ordered a chicken katsu plate and I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. I strongly advise against anyone else coming here. It is concerning that they are able to pass health inspections. The chef does not wash his hands after scratching himself and goes back to the kitchen. There are roaches seen crawling around. The restaurant is in disarray. The front staff are nice and courteous, but the manager is very rude. When I mentioned finding a roach in my bag, she shrugged off the issue.

The service at this restaurant was satisfactory. The portion size for the mini plate was generous. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Spareribs, but found the taste to be just okay. The meat was overcooked and some pieces were burnt, making it hard to chew, almost like jerky. However, the flavor was not bad. My mom ordered the Chicken Cutlet and had no complaints about it.

The best thing to get is the barbeque chicken with rice and mac!!! Kalua pork is pretty salty, but not bad. We got the smaller plates and they were plenty

Despite high end breakfast spot neighbor, L&L is your regular, reliable neighborhood diner /drive-in with both classic breakfast, lunch and dinner plates, and choose your Chinese dishes at certain times. Of course, chicken katsu or bbq chicken is always a favorite. Breakfast is fast, reasonably priced and reliable. Hint! You can get a free newspaper with your order!

I can't believe I paid 12 USD for that meal! And it didn't even come with a drink. I don't understand why they served my food in a to-go box when I ordered to eat in. The pricing doesn't seem justified for what you get. The service was good, though. I ordered the breakfast omelet and it came out in a reasonable amount of time. It was served on a bed of white rice, with the omelet on top. The omelet was large, but nothing special.
