The flavors are authentic Hong Kong style cooking. The menu is extensive as it has some of the unique foods you can usually find only in Hong Kong. I didn't see this dish on one of the Chinese restaurant menus in LA. You have also recommended dishes that are not typical dishes of Chinese restaurants in the USA. In other words, if you want to explore some of the authentic Chinese dishes, this is the place to do it. The restaurant also offers a very good price for your money. Although prices for individual dishes are average, the set menus offer excellent offers. When we have dined there, we ordered a set for $55, the scalion and ginger crab, fried pigeons, ice veggie, Buddha jump over the wall soup, and fried tofu. They also threw in three desserts for us. We couldn't stop all food, because the portions were so generous. Finally, the service was excellent. Our waiter Jackie checked us all the time and changed records. He was the one who brought us the extra desserts like the red bean paste soup, wife cookies and sponge muffin. We were so impressive with food and service. We bring our friends here when we visit San Francisco.
A friend recommended this place as a dimm-sum spot near the airport. Our cave is that we arrived half an hour before closing on a Wednesday, if of course dim sum is not available. We sat unheard and rushed through the meal until the bill came when they warmed up. The fried rice was a little wet and had no significant taste. The honey walnut shrimp was good as the won ton of soup. We should be pretty desperate to come back and try the sum.
Legit spot for Hong Kong kitchen! Love all the dishes we ordered from lobster to tofu to garlic peas vines to roast rice, everything was delicious!
Dim sum portions are quite large here, but it still had good taste. In particular, nothing stood out, and the dumplings fell too easily apart because they were too big. Prices are appropriate for the location. Service was good and we didn't wait long for food. They were also able to our large group of 13 on a Sat during lunch without a question.
One word...DELICIOUS! PLEASE GO EAT HERE if you like authentic Chinese food. Wonton soup made w shrimp and pork dumplings. Beef extremely tender. Not cheap but well worth every cent. Rice cake and sesame cookie with tea fir dessert is a must...sooo delicious!
