If you 're ever in the northern neck and looking for some down home soul food on a Sunday afternoon! The Segar Legacy Center will not disappoint! Located off of route 360, Segar legacy is a quaint space that offers authentic soul food. They have a full patio that is heated in the winter and cool in the summer. Their smothered pork chops, fried chicken, rice pudding, and yeast rolls are my absolute favorite!! They have a variety of southern cuisine such as pig feet, meatloaf, fried fish, macaroni cheese, cabbage and collard greens. They also have a fully stocked bar and a variety of specialty drinks. The customer service is outstanding. It 's like eating at Big Mama 's house everyone is extremely welcoming and friendly.Segar 's also doubles as an event space which can be used for weddings, birthday parties, parties, funerals and reunions.

The Crab feast on Saturday was one of the best. Plenty of good food ,crabs,music and fun.My family and I really enjoyed it.If you are looking for a nice place to dine and relax with good Soul food ,Drop by Segar's Restaurant and lounge you won't regret it.
