Pulled pork sandwich didn't last long! Doing the Ky to TX trip and it was the perfect stop for lunch. I wanted everything on the menu! The pulled pork beat out fried catfish sandwich though. Anthony is a great cook and takes pride in his menu and service. I was blessed with the best meal!
I travel to Memphis/Millington on business several times a year. I found this today on Yelp and decided to give it a try. Man was I glad that I did. That was one of the best and biggest pulled pork sandwiches I've had. And I've had many all over the country. Do not let the looks of the place scare you off. It ain't pretty, but it is darn good food. I could not finish the regular size sandwich. I can only imagine how huge the larger option is. Five stars for food quality and taste
Went there today most excellent delicious enjoyed it ! I think I want to go back tomorrow and get another one it was so good!!! The slaw and sweet sauce complemented the smoky pulled pork got a love it!
My Huge Sloppy, Smoky Piled Pork BBQ Sandwich at Woodstock Was Just Over $5. And That Was Just the Regular Size. A mere five minute drive just outside of the Memphis city limits, owner and pit-master Anthony Bledsoe stokes his pits, where wood smoke climbs high into the sky at Woodstock Store Deli. His “regular” sandwich was piled with mounds of smoky pork and topped with his homemade bbq sauce and slaw. It’s anyone else’s jumbo bbq sandwich, and it only set me back a mere $5 bucks and some change. This old school bbq joint that I’d somehow overlooked was suggested by one of my readers, bbq connoisseur Thomas O’Brien. Good call. Don’t miss out on this one and check back in the future for my full article on Woodstock.
