Contribuisci feedbackThe five stars go to our server Donna, which made our dinner experience amazing! She was just so pleasant and friendly and great at her job! She should definitely be recognized bc es?s so hard these days to go to a chain restaurant and get so great service. The food was really good. Fresh cookies were bomb! and Donna was there to meet our every need BEFORE I could even ask for a refill she was there on her one game! I am a server myself and this woman is exactly what I needed today after a long day of Xmas shopping! I'm not often critics, but she wasn't too sweet. Red Hummer is lucky to have her and I wanted her managers to know how much I appreciate her!
You said wait 30 minutes. They're everywhere. The manager is too busy talking to people like his family and stuff. Then the people who are to put us disappeared. And apparently the girl sat these people in the wrong place and someone screamed at her and she was annoyed and went out. And we stayed there for over 10 minutes. And then a lady came out of nothing and said her table was ready, and she went before us and was sitting before us, even though the table was finished first. Then our waitress took a long time to come to our table to take our order. It's ridiculous.
So I went to my mom's birthday dinner, I haven't been there for about a year. I'm glad I tried again! The staff was friendly and the service was good. Appropriate prices and combination plates. Best Coconut Shrimp EVER. My one and only complaint was about the Cheddar Bay cookies that we have come to long when you know that you are going to Red Lobster. You are now serving only 3 at a time? and they are not refilling as above on your basket as you wish. If they let them come, they'll get 5 stars.
1 star wouldn't be fair. And 3 I feel too much. Dining area had smell like it wasn't clean. Light barriers and windows were obviously dusty, no one purifies it. Well, I didn't go to the restroom to check?
This was our first time visiting this Red Lobster location. We've been patrons of Red Lobster for years and I even worked at another RL location down in the Atlanta area as a hostess many years ago. We were able to make a reservation for 6:15pm on a Friday for our family of 5. We are glad we did call ahead about an hour and a half ahead of time because our wait was very minimal when we arrived. The food was delicious as always. Our children had the lobster tail and popcorn shrimp entrees from the kids menu along with the raspberry bay smoothie and cherry slushie. This was a true family night out so we let them indulge a bit. My husband and I shared the date night platter which was a generous serving of two lobster tails, two sirloin steaks, two shrimp skewers, bacon macaroni and cheese along with 2 sides. We also all shared a slice of the meyer lemon cake. Our service from Brandon was good and we appreciated his attentiveness to our children when they wanted to order for themselves. The only negative I'd say we heard was 2 servers in the area around our table were loudly bickering back and forth about whose section was being seated and which table was hers. It seemed to be mainly a female server upset about either being double sat or not knowing which table what which in her section. As a guest this was definitely an awkward exchange to be listening in on as we were trying to enjoy our night and having been a restaurant manager of another restaurant many years ago, this type of thing definitely wouldn't fly with my staff. I also believe the manager was the one who dropped off our check at the end of the meal because we used a gift card to pay part of our balance and I was a bit surprised that I believe I saw 2 managers near our table that evening and neither the one who dropped off our check nor the one we saw walking through our area bothered to ask how our evening was going. Again, this didn't put a damper on the evening as a guest, more an observation from a former restaurant manager who made sure to be as attentive as possible and if I were the manager who had to run the check to the table I definitely would have made it a point to engage in some friendly conversation with the patrons. Again, overall, good experience and we would go back to this location in the future.
