The food is delicious and there's plenty to go around (except for the tortoises). It's a BYOB restaurant, so I suggest bringing along a beer or wine to enjoy with all the amazing dishes they offer.
Amazing! We were seated at the VIP table in the kitchen with the staff. It felt very welcoming and cozy, just like home! The food was incredible and the service was top-notch. The wine list was beautiful and reasonably priced. I highly recommend dining here at least once in your lifetime!
Booking was easy, but the day before our reservation we received an email telling us to arrive 20 minutes early at 11:00. It was a challenge to get there on time with 5 adults and 4 children, none of whom live in Mirabel. Two adults arrived at 10:35 and had to park very close to another off-road vehicle, making it difficult to exit the car. Despite arriving early, we were told to wait until 10:50 before being seated. The wait was uncomfortable as it was cold and windy, and the line of about 50 people became restless. Once seated, we had to ask for the music to be turned down so we could converse. The food didn't come until 11:25, and the portions were disappointingly small. The service was slow, and we had to chase down the waitress for each dish. The meat dishes were decent, but the children only received half portions. Dessert was inedible, with one pudding being undercooked. The only saving grace was the cucumbers and beets. To top it off, they only accepted cash payments and charged for a one-year-old in a high chair. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and we will not be returning.
It was a tristounette day, but when we got here, it's a real hut, as before commercial. the excellent meal...More
Very ordinary food! having tried several sugar shacks I must admit that this one is the worst food side. Very ordinary and cold taste. We were a group of 9 adults and all were disappointed. on the other hand the hut and the site are well as the orchestra, but if you want to eat a food that should taste the maple syrup it is not the ideal place. but the staff is really nice and accommodating.
