We usually go to Cora's, but decided to change things up. Denny's did not disappoint. The breakfast portions were large, fresh, and filling! I'm sure my parents will want to come back. The waiter was attentive and polite. We visited on a Saturday at 8:30 a.m., so there wasn't much of a crowd. It's important to plan ahead. The prices were great. The restaurant could use some updates, as some of the seats need replacing. However, this did not detract from our breakfast experience.
The loud and rowdy behavior of the other customers ruined my lunch with my family and gave me a headache that lasted for 2 hours after I left. I felt sorry for the waitress, who was doing her best to handle the situation. Denny's is supposed to be a family restaurant, not a place for loud drinking and rowdy behavior. I can only give my experience a 2-star rating, and that is only because the waitress and manager tried their best to resolve the situation.
I recently ordered takeout from the kids' menu (chocolate chip pancakes) and requested to substitute the sausage link and bacon with eggs, as I am vegetarian. The lady on the phone told me I would receive one egg, but I ended up with two! The portion size was surprisingly large and filling for only $4.00. I will definitely be returning in the future. The service was good, but I noticed a strange smell of body odor or onions when I picked up my order.
The food was overall amazing! Like I had tried the belgian waffle and french toast.. it was rlly good. Except the order was kinda slow... but overall great place!
Lovely atmosphere. I like going to Denny's for a greasy food fix, and free refills. The atmosphere is always nice there, the servers are always very very friendly. Their cheesy fries are really good, especially with ranch sauce. There is free wi-fi here and it's 24/7, so it's really easy to spend a rainy afternoon They have a good selection of healthier foods, but if you're going to go, go for the breakfast! Best bacon, sausage, eggs. I like the flavoured cappuccino, with an American grand slam. The prices are great too, in my opinion, you do get food for your money (if that makes sense?
