The service was great and fast but the food was worth skipping. We had the fish and chips which was the absolute worst we both ever had. Was a little shocked over the price of the beer. They don't have any regular type beer, just 12 dollar craft beer. When you get a bill for 70 dollars for two beer and two horrible fish and chips, I really don't think we will be back. I don't mind paying for good food and drink, but this was not a great experience.
Same as the other location, I love to stop in here when I have a few hour layover when traveling. Always busy, so temper your expectations with the reality of being high-traffic, high-volume, limited space realities.
Came here for dinner tonight. Had the Montreal Special sandwich which was great. Very tasty. Came with a side of fries and coleslaw. Service was terrible. Waitress was very unfriendly, rude and being very quiet. When she dropped off my food, she just placed it on the table without asking and making sure thats what I wanted. When I was done with my food, she picked up my plate, and gave me my bill. When I was waiting for the credit card machine (since she didnt ask me my method of payment), I just sat and waited. She approached me after around 10 minutes asking me if I wanted to order something else from the menu. No huge deal, we all have terrible days, however mine was already not good and she just made it worst. :s
Weekend trip to Toronto, strolling down the distillery district and happened upon this place. Great beer, of course. But the food, delicious and amazing quality!
