The portions were really good. There were enough plantain for 2 or 3 meals. They were delicious!! The same for the creamed spinach. I started to get dark meat because I thought the white meat would be too dry. To my delight, the chicken was moist and tender. The seaoning was so good I could have just eaten a plate of skin. I love spicy food, but I must say, that green sauce caught me off guard...it was really spicy! After the first bite and after cooling my mouth, I tried it again. This time it was better because I expected the heat. I think the chicken is good without the sauce.
Amazing food. I loved the fried yucca very delicious. Also had the Churrasco de Pollo which was flavorful with plantains and rice.
Compatlring this food to other Peruvian Chicken places I've been. I like the fried Yucca. The waitress gave me alot of green beans. Lamb chops over rice is pictured. The green beans have flavor. The food tastes good . Overall I had a good experience. This seems to be the highest rates rated restauaraunt in this shopping center. They have a decent amount of traffic, but the wait was reasonable. Would recommend
Question: Is this the same owner as the one on Annapolis Rd? This place was the best chicken stable I visited in this area in my 10 years. After the tragic accident that happened to the store, I had the need to go back to Virginia, the pollen Rico, which also a great place, but far. This 5 start is for the Annapolis rd location: great customer service, delicious chicken and clean place. I hope to see the store another day in this area, Landover Hill?
It is rare to have a meal where EVERYTHING is perfect? Steak, shrimp, chicken, hot dog, roasted rice, spread beans and plantains and the best part? they are only 6 minutes away from home!
