Instead of telling us there was a wait, the hostess told us that she was told not to seat anyone else by the kitchen and that if we wanted to sit at the bar she couldnt stop us. We decided to go somewhere else. We didnt know if we were going to get food or not by sitting at the bar and if the manager and kitchen are turning people away we arent going to beg to eat or spend money there.
We go there about twice a year and we usually get the same waitress but she knows us and remembers us as if we just been there and gives us excellent service Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Shrimp and Grits, Pretzel Bites, Shepherd's Pie, Corned Beef Cabbage
As a true Irishman from Dublin town, I can honestly say that this tiny pub is a hidden gem on the back roads of North Carolina. One only needs to spend some time talking with the bartender Ethan to understand how passionate he is about his heritage and the job he does. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
