Strings Italian Cafe - Modesto

First off…. KEELIE!!!! The best server in Modesto! Not a debate! Only server in the restaurant with 5+ tables still on top of everything. Literally didn’t have to ask for anything. She just knew what we needed and brought it without us even having to ask. The food was top notch! The flavor was amazing on everything we ate. I would definitely come back! Definitely a new favorite for sure. I can’t wait to come back! Literally if it looks good to you, TRY IT! You honestly won’t regret it!! Great first experience!

Had lunch today at Strings on Oakdale Road in Modesto. The food was delicious! (I had the penne). Although we were a large group of 16, the service was outstanding. We loved the covered outside patio. Even though it was a warm day, we were comfortable, and it was nice to have a space in which we could all sit together on one long table—and even hear those on the far end. The restaurant’s decor is lovely, and we all said we are looking forward to eating here again.

I had the Fettuccine Alfredo and she had the Lasagna Pastry with just red sauce. My Fettuccine was very good and her Lasagna was just OK. The Lasagna Pastry was soggy and all the textures just kind of blended into a mush. Not something she would order again. The family style salad was the hit of the meal. My favorite part was our waitress. She was very attentive and had an excellent personality. She is the reason we will be back. A Service with a nice and friendly smile...

My husband and I enjoy their food. So glad they are back open for dining inside. I have had some meals there with really tasty sauces. And their prices are very good!

From the customer service to the food what a excellent place to dine! They have added a beautiful patio with a fire pit, can’t wait to have dinner outside
