We sat outside, sadly the chairs and tables were already starting to fall apart. At least they put a table cloth paper on the table after a while. The service was quite slow which was ok since we got the wine first. The Ham was nice, however we couldn't enjoy it together with the garlic bread as it came out 20 mins later. The garlic bread came cold and was mediocre at best. We then had to wait another 20 minutes for the tomato salad which we specifically ordered as a starter. The Piri Piri chicken is to die for however the fries were disgusting. They were greasy and raw. The tarta de nata was really good, the other cakes not so much. All in all a mixed experience.
A locally run, traditional restaurant. Very welcoming, run by the wonderful Paula. Great choice of local dishes. I recommend cheese, presunto, and olives. House wine, dish of the day. The best chicken piri piri.
Conselho.
