Paradise Island - Monona

Sooo yummy. Was looking for something cold on a hot day and was sold on this place after seeing some photos of their shakes online. Definitely didn’t disappoint. Ice cream was super yummy and I appreciated the presentation on my shake. Lots of flavors to choose from, nice outdoor seating, and great pricing!

Paradise ice cream is our favorite ice cream stop in Madison. We are always greeted with warm smiles and come out with delicious fresh ice cream!! We need to resist going to the excessive numbers of white-owned businesses support BIPOC owned businesses!! This ice cream stop is a true gem and unlike any other ice cream place in Madison. We love their pistachio piñón (pine nut) flavors!!

Just a wonderful ice cream shop with the friendliest employees. They will provide a sample taste if you want to try any of the ice creams. We love the pistachio and pine nut that actually has many nuts mixed in! Next time we’ll try the mango chavoy!

Homemade ice cream and more! This place is an absolute gem. I mixed a sorbet of mango and another fruit I forgot the name of, so good they had small pieces of the real fruit in them too. My two friends and I came and are so glad we did, will be back! :

Mango con chavoy is a delight! It is mango ice cream, chunks of fresh mango, a candy straw made of strawberries and Chile, and a red sauce with salty and Chile flavors. So refreshing and, as far as I can tell, totally dairy-free! This is the first time I have ever had frozen fruit with salty chiles and it is remarkably good.
